The Society for the Advancement of Electrochemical Science and Technology (SAEST) is headquartered at CECRI campus, Karaikudi.
SAEST currently has about 1,620 members who are students, researchers, scientists, professors, R&D personnel, executives from government and private organizations, consultants, and industrialists.
The society functions according to a memorandum, Constitution, and Bylaws and is managed and run by a team of officers elected once every two years.
To aid in the active involvement of members working in different parts of the country, SAEST has formed local chapters and arranges national seminars on different areas of electrochemical technology.
