ECS Committees govern the many activities of ECS. Standing committees are appointed by the ECS President, subject to approval of the Board of Directors, and the Standing Committees report to the Board of Directors at the ECS biannual meetings. Membership on a Standing Committee is restricted to ECS Active Members for an elected term of office. The purpose of each of these committees is described in the ECS Bylaws.
