The Fuel Cell Subcommittee reports to the ECS Technical Affairs Committee and was established to to coordinate fuel cell symposia, publications, and other technical exchanges. ECS has held many fuel cell symposia at its biannual meetings, including the very successful Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) and Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFC) series. Other symposia include Biological Fuel Cells and Direct Methanol Fuel Cells.
