High Temperature Materials Division Travel Grants

Student/Postdoc travel grants

Travel grants to assist student members and post-doctoral members of the High Temperature Materials (HTM) Division are available for requests up to $600 each (student) and $1,000 each (post-doctoral). Grants will be made on a merit-based assessment, with up to 10 awards made per biannual society meeting (1 person/research group).

Successful grant applicants must demonstrate the following:
  • Indicate HTM as their primary division.
  • Be the presenter of their research in an HTM-sponsored symposium at ECS meetings.
  • Indicate intent to submit an associated manuscript to ECS journal.
  • Demonstrate high-quality research and strong support (judged by supervisor letter).
