Completed Registration Forms along with payment MUST be received by October 1, 1999, to qualify for the advance rates. All refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee. Please submit cancellations in writing to the Society Headquarters Office at the address listed in the General Information Section below. Written requests for refunds will be honored only if received at Society Headquarters before October 8, 1999.

Attendees prepaying by credit card may send their Advance Registration Forms to the Society Headquarters Office by FAX: (609) 737-2743. If you send your Advance Registration Form by FAX, please do not send another copy by mail, as this may result in duplicate charges.

All Advance Registrations will be confirmed by mail.

REGISTRATION FEES

ALL PARTICIPANTS AND ATTENDEES ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE APPROPRIATE REGISTRATION FEE LISTED BELOW. Payment can be made by cash, check, or travelers checks in U.S. funds. Credit cards, Mastercard or Visa only, are accepted.

Note: All technical registrants, except SOFC, will receive a copy of the Meeting Abstracts Volume as a part of their registration fee.

*If a nonmember registers (excluding one day fee) and submits an Application for Admission within four months of the Hawaii Meeting, and is subsequently elected to membership, they will receive a complimentary membership in the Society.

+All students must send verification of student eligibility along with their registration.

Registration Categories

1. ECS, ECSJ & JSAP Members - Individual Members of either The Electrochemical Society (ECS), The Electrochemical Society of Japan (ECSJ), or the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP) interested in attending the technical sessions, including all Speakers (both invited and contributed) and Session Co-Chairs.
2. ECS, ECSJ & JSAP Students - Qualified Student Members of either The Electrochemical Society (ECS), The Electrochemical Society of Japan (ECSJ), or the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP) interested in attending the technical sessions, including all Speakers (both invited and contributed) and Session Co-Chairs.
3. One-Day ECS, ECSJ & JSAP Members - Individual Members of either The Electrochemical Society (ECS), The Electrochemical Society of Japan (ECSJ), or the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP) interested in attending the technical sessions, including all Speakers (both invited and contributed) and Session Co-Chairs, on a specific day ONLY.
4. Nonmembers - Nonmember registrants interested in attending the technical sessions, including all Speakers (both invited and contributed) and Session Co-Chairs.
5. Nonmember Students - Nonmember full-time undergaduate or graduate strudents registered for a degree in science or engineering. All students must send verification of student eligibility along with registration.
6. One-Day Nonmembers - Nonmembers interested in attending technical sessions and meeting activities on a specified day ONLY.
7. Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Symposium (SOFC) Registrants & SOFC Students - This special SOFC & SOFC Student registration package includes the meeting registration fee, a copy of the SOFC Proceedings Volume, a ticket to the SOFC Banquet on Wednesday evening, a ticket to the SOFC Luncheon on Thursday. SOFC & SOFC Students registrants do NOT receive a copy of the Meeting Abstracts Volume. Meeting Abstracts Volumes will be available for purchase at the meeting. Student eligibility requirements are listed under #5 above.
8. Nontechnical Registrants - Admittance to a daily continental breakfast and other Meeting activities, except for Technical Sessions.
9. Short-Courses - Admittance to Sunday Short Courses ONLY, not applicable to any other Meeting activities.
10. Meeting Abstracts - For those individuals who are not planning to attend the Meeting and still wish to purchase the Meeting Abstracts, they are available for $70 for Members and $84 for Nonmembers. Use the Additional line in Section D of the Advance Registration Form to order a copy. Please add the following amounts for additional postage: First Class mailing within the US is $8, Air Mail postage to Canada is $14, and Air Mail postage to all other countries is $24.
