Dokiya Symposium Fund
Guidelines for Organizers
Introduction
In 2004, Mrs. Yukiko Dokiya and family, in memory of Masayuki Dokiya, created the Dokiya Symposium Fund to provide travel and registration support to young investigators in fields of interest to the late Dr. Dokiya. Particularly, it aims at supporting young researchers in attending international symposium. The total gift is $92,575 and is to be spent within a ten-year period. The 2004 Joint International Meeting of The Electrochemical Society and The Electrochemical Society of Japan was the first meeting to take advantage of this fund.
The fields of interest to the late Dr. Dokiya are matched, for example, in the following symposia:
- Solid Oxide Fuel Cells Symposia
-
International Conferences on
- Ionic and Mixed Conducting Ceramics
- High Temperature Corrosion and Materials Chemistry
- High Temperature Materials Chemistry
-
