Sensor Division Student Paper Award

The Sensor Division Student Paper Award was established in 2012 to recognize an outstanding research paper in any area of science or engineering in which electrochemical science and technology and/or solid state science and technology is the central consideration.

Presented: Fall meeting and Spring Meeting, annual

Recipient qualifications

The recipient must be a PhD student in any area of science or engineering in which electrochemical science and technology and/or solid state science and technology is the central consideration and an ECS member.

A winner is not eligible to be considered for consecutive awards if the abstract is on the same topic. Winning for different topics is allowed. Candidates shall be self-nominated. Unsuccessful nominees must be re-nominated to be eligible for consideration for the next award.

Award

The award consists of a $200 prize. Multiple awards may be given. If the award committee deems appropriate, a runner up award may be given for $100.
