Physical and Analytical Electrochemistry Division
Young Faculty Travel Award

The Physical and Analytical Electrochemistry Division (PAED) will support the travel of one or two young faculty to each ECS meeting. Eligible faculty must be at the assistant professor rank in a tenure track faculty position and be giving an oral presentation at a symposium that is co-sponsored by PAED.

The terms of reference of this award are:

  1. The applicant for this award must be a faculty member at the rank of assistant professor in a tenure track position;
  2. The applicant must give an oral presentation in a symposium sponsored or cosponsored by PAED at the meeting for which the award is granted. Poster presentations are not eligible for support from this award;
  3. Winners will be selected by the Executive Committee of PAED. Preference will be given to applicants who have not been awarded a TravelAward from the PAED in the prior two years;
  4. Travel Awards will be in the amount of $750 per winner per meeting;
  5. ln the case of insufficient funds or an inadequate pool of candidates, no award will be given;
  6. Applicants must submit the ECS Travel Grant application form, a two-page resume, and a copy of their extended abstract. Electronic submission of nomination packets is preferred;
  7. Applications must be received by January 1 for Spring meetings, or July 1 for Fall meetings.
