ECS is pleased to announce its first ever student mixer to take place during the 213th Meeting in Phoenix. Come meet fellow electrochemistry and solid-state science students from around the world along with senior ECS members and leaders. We have witnessed amazing growth in the number of student members over the past 15 months and we would like to continue this momentum for the years to come. But, we are interested in much more than just growing our number of members; it is our goal to better engage each of you so that together, we can guide the Society to new heights.
Sunday, May 18, 2008 will be ECS Student Day at Chase Field (only two blocks away from the Phoenix Convention Center). The day will be kicked off by a lunch mixer around noon followed by an Arizona Diamondbacks - Detroit Tigers baseball game. More information will be posted here and sent via email in the weeks to come.
Registration to the 213th Meeting is mandatory to attend the event. Admission to the mixer and game are free of charge to the first 175 students who RSVP. Invitations will be sent via email to all student registrants, but please feel free to go ahead and send in your RSVP as soon as you have registered for the meeting.
