Symposium focus: Optical sensors based upon adsorption, emission or interferometric principles are being developed to enable sensitive detection. Plasmonic sensing devices provide significant enhancements in sensitivity. This session covers the recent advance of various sensing methods related to light and any topics that can promote the development of optical sensors, plasmonics, chemiluminescent, and electrochemiluminescent sensors.
