The 233rd ECS Meeting will take place May 13-17, 2018 at the Seattle Sheraton and Washington State Convention Center.

If our strong technical program, of over 2,600 abstracts being presented in 43 symposia across five days, wasn’t enough of a reason to join us, check out some of the other exciting events taking place in Seattle.

  • The ECS Lecture: “Linking Brains to Machines: From Basic Science to Neurological Neurorehabilitation” being given by Miguel Nicolelis.
  • Trip to Microsoft SOFC Powered Data Center: An excursion to see Microsoft’s state of the art data center, powered by solid oxide fuel cells. Take a tour and ask Microsoft staff questions about the center and the SOFC technology.
  • ECS Data Sciences Hack Week: All electrochemical engineers can benefit from this workshop, whether experimentally or theoretically focused. Learning how to create, share, use, and improve open source software tools and public datasets is one way to accelerate research progress in our field. Application deadline March 30, 2018.
  • Networking Breaks: We have taken attendee feedback and put it into action by implementing afternoon breaks. Take a moment to stretch your legs, reenergize with coffee or tea, and network with exhibitors before moving to the next session.
