High-Temperature Energy, Materials, & Processes Division Outstanding Achievement Award

The High-Temperature Energy, Materials, & Processes Division Outstanding Achievement Award was established in 1984 to recognize excellence in research and outstanding technical contributions to the high-temperature energy, materials, and processes field.

Recipient qualifications

The recipient will have some outstanding achievement in high-temperature energy, materials, and processes research or other significant technical contributions to the field. Those nominees not chosen for the award in the first award period will be considered for the following two award cycles.

Award

The award consists of a scroll, a US $1,000 prize, and complimentary registration (if required). The recipient is required to attend the Society meeting to receive the award and give a lecture to the High-Temperature Energy, Materials, & Processes Division. The recipient will receive up to US $1,000 in travel expenses to facilitate meeting attendance.
