About the instructors

Martijn Van Dijk – Area Manager at Metrohm Autolab B.V. finished his M.Sc in chemistry at the University of Utrecht (the Netherlands) in 1996, with a focus on the determination of various mycotoxins in different matrices with the use of HPLC and fluorescence detection. In 2001 he joined Metrohm Autolab as Area Manager for the Autolab product line. Martijn has participated in many different electrochemistry summer and winter schools around the world, including: University of Bath, University of Southampton and Case Western Reserve University.

Ritesh Vyas – Product Manager at Metrohm USA Inc. finished his PhD from Lamar University in 2008 with a focus on the applications of hetro poly oxides in various branches of electrochemistry such as fuel cells, batteries, sensors and photovoltaic cells. Over the last 10 years he has published several posters, presentations and peer-reviewed articles in multiple electrochemistry fields such as ion diffusion, photoluminescence, oxygen reduction, EIS modeling, and so on. After completing his PhD, Ritesh worked as senior scientist for 2 years at Whirlpool Corporation. Ritesh has been with Metrohm USA for five years and holds the position of electrochemistry product manager.
