Focus Issue on Porphyrins, Phthalocyanines, and Supramolecular Assemblies in Honor of Karl M. Kadish

This focus issue of the ECS Journal of Solid State Science and Technology (JSS) honors Prof. Karl M. Kadish who will be 75 in February 2020. Prof. Kadish had a pioneering role in establishing the Nanocarbon Division of The Electrochemical Society and is an internationally recognized electrochemist working in the areas of porphyrins and nanocarbon materials. Fundamental studies from his laboratory have uncovered novel scientific phenomena and helped in developing molecular systems that promise a myriad of applications ranging from energy harvesting, sensing, biomimicry and drug design to high performance materials.

This special issue welcomes papers (communications, regular papers, and short reviews) covering different aspects of synthesis, electrochemistry, spectroelectrochemistry, photoelectrochemical and bulk-heterojunction solar cells, sensors, catalysis, electron and energy transfer, energy storage derived from organic, inorganic and nanocarbon systems.

Accepting Submissions: March 2, 2020 | Submission Deadline: May 31, 2020

(At the time of submission, indicate that the paper is intended for a focus issue and select Focus Issue on
