Speaker Biography: Kevin Eberman, PhD, is the Director of Product Development at 3M, leading innovation in climate technologies. With over 20 years of experience in energy storage R&D, he has developed and scaled lithium-ion battery materials, commercialized cell designs, and implemented cells in products and packs.

Presentation Abstract: Over the past several years, 3M’s New Growth Ventures has been at the forefront of developing innovative solutions in the Climate Tech sector. This presentation will explore 3M’s strategic initiatives in carbon dioxide capture, lithium extraction, and hydrogen generation, highlighting the company’s commitment to sustainable technology. Dr. Eberman will share insights into the challenges and opportunities within these emerging fields, offering a detailed look at the technologies shaping our sustainable future.
