David P. Wilkinson, Professor Emeritus at The University of British Columbia, has made invaluable contributions across lengthy industrial and academic careers in electrochemical energy conversion and storage science and engineering. His research spans fuel cells, electrolyzers, batteries, carbon dioxide and nitrogen conversion, and electrochemical wastewater treatment. A Fellow of The Electrochemical Society and the International Society of Electrochemistry, he has received numerous honors, including appointment to the Order of Canada for pioneering scientific leadership and lasting impact.
