Follow these steps to fill gaps left in your program by withdrawn talks.
Replacing Withdrawn Talks
- Click Cancelled Presentations to identify talks withdrawn from your symposium.
- Complete the Withdrawn Talk Replacement Form to move a poster presentation into an open oral presentation slot.
- Changes are due: October 19, 2026.
251st ECS Meeting
Submission to the 251st ECS Meeting is open!
Look out for information about upcoming Symposium Organizer Zoom Training Sessions. Topics covered include:
- Lead organizer, co-organizer, session chair, and others’ roles;
- Symposium scheduling;
- Invited speakers;
- Poster sessions and more.
Next steps:
- Reach out to co-organizers to begin planning your symposium.
- Invite featured speakers to present in your symposium.
- Encourage students, colleagues, and others to submit abstracts.
- Remind participants (speakers, co-organizers, session chairs, etc.) living abroad to begin the visa application process. Request a preliminary visa letter of invitation here.
Watch for a “Welcome to Organizing” email from the ECS Technical Program Team with important information on:
- Timelines and deadlines;
- Training opportunities;
- Accessing and monitoring submissions;
- Raising sponsorship funds.
