s the scholarly community considers peer review capacity, ECS celebrates the reviewers whose timely, rigorous service helps sustain quality and trust in scientific publishing.
Peer Review Week 2026, observed September 14 through 18, brings the global scholarly community together around the theme “Peer Review Capacity: Volume, Speed, and Quality.” The theme speaks directly to one of the most consequential challenges in scholarly communication. Research output continues to grow; expectations for timely editorial decisions continue to rise; and journals must preserve the rigor and trust that give peer review its value. (more…)
