The ECS Europe Section sincerely thanks the previous Executive Committee, led by Chair Prof. Jan Macák with Dr. Adriana Ispas as Secretary and Dr. Robert Lynch as Treasurer, for their dedication and service.
Today, the section includes over 600 members. Founded to advance science, technology, and human understanding, it is committed to encouraging young scientists and fostering the exchange of ideas between fundamental and applied research across Europe. The section supports and promotes activities in electrochemistry and solid state science, provides networking opportunities for researchers at all career stages, and works to strengthen collaboration and visibility of European ECS members within the Society and internationally. The new Executive Committee is committed to fostering cooperation, welcoming new ideas, and supporting the organization of events that promote electrochemical science and technology across Europe and beyond.
Please feel free to reach out to Ingrid Milošev, the Chair, or other members of the Executive Committee with your news, thoughts, ideas, or to express your willingness to get involved. The European Section thrives when it reflects the creativity, diversity, and commitment of its members.
The EU Section looks forward to working together in the coming year and to building a strong, connected, and forward-looking ECS European Section.
