Symposium: A04—Next Generation Batteries

Symposium focus:
The symposium focuses on “thinking out of the box,” emerging next-generation battery technologies, including but not limited to Na/K-ion, multivalent ion, Li-air, Li-S batteries, and solid state batteries. This symposium’s special interests lie in materials discovery, innovative cell designs, computations, and advanced characterizations that would address the challenges currently facing next-generation battery technologies. We hope to gather many researchers from around the world and stimulate discussion on new advances in materials design and modeling of battery materials. The symposium features invited talks by subject matter experts, oral presentations by renowned scientists from around the world, and poster presentations by energetic young student contributors.
