Symposium H02: Photovoltaics for the 21st Century 16: New Materials and Processes

Symposium focus: This symposium provides a forum for the discussion of terawatt-capable solar-to-electrical conversion technologies that have the potential to meet the global energy demand and become an impactful source of energy in the 21st century. Research is needed in earth-abundant solar materials, energy-efficient fabrication, recycling of waste solar modules, and storage of intermittent solar electricity to lower the cost and improve the efficiency and sustainability of solar-to-electrical conversion.

Notable attribute: Plenary speakers include leading experts in record-efficiency silicon solar cells and stable and efficient perovskite solar cells.
