Symposium focus: Electrochemical interface between the electrode and electrolyte is pivotal to battery performance. A deeper understanding of the electrochemical processes occurring at the interfaces is crucial. Symposium A07 invites presentations that delve into the structure, dynamics, and charge transfer in the electrodes, electrolytes, and their interphases in Li-ion and Li metal batteries. Specifically, advancements are welcomed in both experimental and theoretical modeling techniques aimed at unraveling the mechanisms of interfacial phenomena and their impact on the electrochemical performance of materials, composite electrodes, and energy storage systems. This symposium also highlights presentations from distinguished invited speakers and ECS Battery Division Award recipients. The deadline for abstract submissions is April 12, 2024.
