Symposium focus: Electrolysis is a versatile and sustainable technology that has applications in various industries including ammonia synthesis, carbon dioxide reduction, electrochemical remediation, electrocoagulation, water disinfection, salinity gradient or microbial energy conversion, and electroadsorption. To accelerate the adoption of electrolysis for sustainable industrial processes, this symposium focuses on innovative materials and processes that can enhance the efficiency, selectivity, and sustainability of electrolysis systems in these application areas.
