ECS New England Section Welcomes New Executive Committee

As of January 1, 2026, the ECS New England Section welcomed a new Executive Committee:

  • CHAIR: Prof. Joshua Gallaway, Northeastern University
  • VICE CHAIR: Prof. Trisha L. Andrew, University of Massachusetts Amherst
  • SECRETARY: Prof. Ertan Ağar, University of Massachusetts Lowell
  • TREASURER: Dr. Katelyn Ripley-Kenyon, Sage Analysis Group

MEMBERS AT LARGE support the Executive Committee:

  • Feng Lin, Brown University
  • Liangbing Hu, Yale University
  • Forrest Gittleson, Samsung SDI

Prof. Sanjeev Mukerjee, Northeastern University, continues his involvement as PAST CHAIR.

The section, which includes 150 members, was founded to build and strengthen collaborations and communication within the New England electrochemical community. It is dedicated to:

  • Promoting activities in electrochemistry and solid state science;
  • Providing networking opportunities for researchers at all career stages;
  • Strengthening New England ECS members’ collaboration and visibility within the Society and internationally.

The new Executive Committee is committed to holding events that promote electrochemical science and technology across New England and beyond. We encourage all New England electrochemists to sign up and participate.
