The 8th Annual Next Generation Electrochemistry (NGenE) meeting takes place in person from June 5-9, 2023, at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

NGenE organizers invite doctoral students and postdoc researchers working in electrochemistry to apply for this intense exploration of the frontiers of electrochemistry. The program is free to those admitted. Lodging and transportation support are provided free of charge.

Recent years have witnessed a boom in research areas leveraging electrochemistry for diverse uses and applications. The sixth annual Next Generational Electrochemistry Workshop—NGenE 2021—showcases the stunning breadth of topics that now depend on advances in electrochemical knowledge. Simultaneously, NGenE 2021 highlights how many unresolved questions cut across possible applications, meaning that progress at a fundamental level can have a widespread technological and social impact.

NGenE 2020 Goes Digital!

Next Generation Electrochemistry (NGenE) will be going digital for 2020! The FREE online program will focus on the frontiers of electrochemistry and is open to anyone interested in learning more! The program will be concentrated into four panels across two days and free for anyone anywhere in the world to view live via YouTube.

Electrochemists—are you looking for the next challenge in your career? Are you prepared to examine the gaps in the electrochemical science field and willing to take a step back to find new, innovative solutions?

Next Generation Electrochemistry (NGenE), a summer institute on the frontiers of electrochemistry, is offering a one-week NSF-funded Summer Institute program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) June 3-7, 2019 to do just that. Experienced students and young postdocs are encouraged to apply.
