Registration Opens February 2021
Early registration ends May 3, 2021
Two types of registration are available for the meeting in Chicago; one for the 239th Electrochemical Society (ECS) Meeting, the other for the 18th International Meeting on Chemical Sensors (IMCS). Registration fees for both meetings include entrance to all technical programming, exhibit hall and poster sessions, daily coffee service, and access to meeting abstracts.
The IMCS registration includes a ticket to the Wednesday evening IMCS banquet. This is not included in the 239th ECS Meeting registration. It is important to select the fee for the appropriate meeting when registering. As space is limited for the IMCS banquet, tickets are not guaranteed for late registration changes.
Written requests for refunds are only honored if received by May 24, 2021. All refunds are subject to a 10 percent processing fee. Refund requests must be made in writing and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds are processed after the meeting.
Code of Conduct
Meeting attendees must conduct themselves at all times in a manner that inspires public confidence and trust. Attendees who disregard the ECS Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including forfeiture of meeting registration, loss of ECS membership, and/or discharge from Society volunteer positions.
Travel companions—nontechnical registrants
Attendees’ travel companions are invited to register for the meeting as nontechnical registrants. The nontechnical registrant fee includes admission to non-ticketed social events, access to a designated lounge for all nontechnical registrants, and a welcome gift packet.
The deadline for division-sponsored Student and Young Professional/Early Career Travel Grants is February 22, 2021. All applicants for division-sponsored travel grants are notified of their status prior to the early registration deadline. For information on additional meeting travel grants and availability of funding, contact the symposium organizers directly. Their contact information is located in the various sections of the Call for Papers.
