Attendee information

Access to all technical presentations is freely available to the entire global community, greatly expanding the potential audience who can see, hear, and experience the meeting’s outstanding content. Pre-registration is required to participate. There is no cost to participate!

 

Presenter Information 

To help support free, global access, all presenters are required to pay a modest registration fee, greatly reduced from the onsite registration rates that presenters were required to pay.

For digital presentations, authors who are unable to attend the meeting can:

  • Upload a video of their presentation and/or a PDF of their slides or poster;
  • Have their video played during the symposium for the on-site attendees;
  • Answer questions about their presentations through a Q&A interface on their presentation pages;
  • Enjoy free, global distribution of these files through the online program;
  • Access all uploaded presentation videos from the meeting

Virtual Short Course Registration

The 240th ECS Meeting will offer virtual short courses on Sunday, October 10, and Monday, October 11, 2021, from 0800-1100h ET. The courses are not recorded or available after these dates.

Refund Policy

Written requests for refunds are only honored if received by October 4, 2021. All refunds are subject to a 10 percent processing fee and requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to customerservice@electrochem.org. Refunds are processed after the meeting.


Code of Conduct

Meeting attendees must conduct themselves at all times in a manner that inspires public confidence and trust at all times. Attendees who disregard the ECS Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including forfeiting their meeting registration, loss of Society membership, and/or being relieved of any volunteer positions held in the Society.


Travel grants

The deadline for division-sponsored Student and Young Professional/Early Career Travel Grants is June 28, 2021. All applicants for division-sponsored travel grants are notified of their status prior to the early registration deadline. For additional meeting travel grants, individuals may contact symposium organizers directly to find out whether funding is available. Contact information for each symposium is located in the various sections in the Call for Papers.
