Urgent notice: Beware of housing pirates
Organizations commonly referred to as “housing pirates” (such as Expo Key, Travel Booking Solutions, Hotel Booking Consulting, CBS International Travel, Global Housing, Golden Pass LLC, Online Exhibit Booking, and Elite Housing Services) may contact you regarding hotel reservations for ECS events. A housing pirate is a company or individual which falsely represents itself as an official ECS event housing provider, often soliciting exhibitors and attendees to book accommodations through them at inflated rates or with hidden fees. Housing pirates may say that an ECS employee directed them to call or that they can get cheaper hotel rates. Be advised; these are all scams. Companies like this are in no way affiliated with ECS.
No one should ever email or call on behalf of ECS to book hotel rooms. ECS does not offer promotional/savings codes for hotel reservations. Companies offering promotional/savings codes for hotel reservations are not affiliated in any way with ECS.
Official housing information is only available on the ECS website. It is best to book rooms directly through the ECS event website. Contact meetings@electrochem.org with questions or concerns.

The 249th ECS Meeting takes place at the Seattle Convention Center – Arch and Sheraton Grand Seattle.

Block(s) of Sheraton Grand Seattle rooms are reserved for attendees; the hotel block remains open until the block sells out.
To keep meeting costs as low as possible for attendees and ECS, using the ECS housing block is encouraged. Rates at the Sheraton Grand Seattle start at USD $219.00 per night. Reserve rooms as soon as possible as the hotel block sells out quickly.
Cancellation policy
The one-night deposit required when making reservations is refundable for up to 72 hours prior to arrival.
