What to pack
- Attire – Meeting attire is business casual. Session rooms can get chilly, so packing a sweater or fleece is smart. You’ll probably be walking quite a bit, so packing comfortable shoes is even smarter.
- Business cards – Be prepared to hand out business cards to current and future colleagues.
- Day bag – Between early sessions and evening poster receptions, meeting days are long. There are limited opportunities to return to hotel rooms during the day, so bring along a backpack or briefcase to carry items such as portable chargers, gum/mints, resumes, computer, etc.
- Snacks and a reusable water bottle – Meals are not included in the cost of registration. To limit food expenses, bring snacks from home and a reusable water bottle for frequent refills during the days. Or find a grocery store on the first meeting day and stock up on fruit, granola bars, etc.
- Notebook and pen – Be sure to have these on hand at all times.
