Linford Award

Henry B. Linford Award for Distinguished Teaching

ECS recognizes excellence in teaching in subject areas of interest to the Society through this award. Winners receive a silver medal and plaque with a bronze replica thereof; US $2,500; complimentary ECS biannual meeting registration for the award recipient and a companion; dinner in the recipient’s honor, and ECS Life Membership. Nomination deadline: April 15, 2021

Vittorio de Nora Award

Vittorio de Nora Award in Electrochemical Engineering and Technology Award

Distinguished contributions to the field of electrochemical engineering and technology are acknowledged by this award. It consists of a gold medal and plaque with a bronze replica thereof; US $7,500; complimentary ECS biannual meeting registration for the award recipient and a companion; dinner in the recipient’s honor; and ECS Life Membership. Electrodeposition Division Early Career Investigator Award

ElectrodepositionOutstanding early career researcher in the field of electrochemical deposition science and technology is recognized to enhance the winner’s stature and encourage especially promising researchers to remain active in the field. The awardee receives a framed certificate; US $1,000; and complimentary ECS biannual meeting registration. Nomination deadline: April 1, 2021

Electrodeposition Division Research Award

This award recognizes outstanding research contributions to the field of electrodeposition and encourages the publication of high quality papers in the Journal of The Electrochemical Society. Award winners receive a framed certificate; US $2,000; and complimentary ECS biannual meeting registration. Nomination deadline: April 1, 2021
