Support the Future of ECS

ECS offers inspiration to our members by meeting our mission throughout every aspect of the organization. Since 1902, we have been committed to advancing the theory and practice of electrochemistry, solid-state science, and applied subjects through the dissemination of knowledge in these fields.

When you make a tax-deductible contribution to ECS, your support enables new and exciting opportunities to enrich our present and future electrochemical and solid-state scientists and engineers. ECS has prioritized the needs of the organization through the creation of a Case Statement that identifies who we are and what we would like to accomplish in the near future.

What Can You Do? You can support ECS by contributing to one of these areas:

  • ECS Annual Fund – An Annual Fund contribution to ECS provides the Society with unrestricted funds that may be used to provide the financial assistance for various programs that ECS offers to its members.
  • Digital Library – The ECS Digital Library (DL) provides searchable online access to the various journals, books, and other collections published by ECS. ECS is seeking donations to help fund the archiving of content of the Journal of The Electrochemical Society back to 1902. The Society will be able to continue this project with tax-deductible* contributions from members, corporations, and friends of ECS.
  • ECS Educational Programs – Your support of ECS education initiatives will help the Society expand the number of grants, programs, and Summer Fellowships that ECS can offer to students around the world.

*All contributions to ECS are tax-deductible where applicable. Click here for the "Donor Bill of Rights" (PDF).
