SPECIAL NOTE FOR POSTER PRESENTERS: The new size for poster presentations is NO MORE THAN 3 feet 10 inches high by 3 feet 10 inches wide (1.17 meters high by 1.17 meters wide). THE NEW POSTER SIZE IS APPROXIMATELY HALF THE SIZE USED IN PREVIOUS ECS MEETINGS.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR ORAL PRESENTERS: LCD projectors and laptop computers will be provided as standard equipment for oral presentations. YOU NO LONGER NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP TO THE MEETING; YOU MAY BRING YOUR PRESENTATION ON A USB FLASHDRIVE INSTEAD.
Guests of Technical Registrants are invited to register for the 219th Meeting as a “Companion Registrant.” The companion registration fee of $25 (Early-Bird) or $30 (after April 1) includes admission to non-ticketed social events, an exclusive lounge with beverage service (Monday through Thursday, 0800-1000h), and a special “Welcome to Montreal” orientation presented by Tourism Montreal (Monday, May 2 at 0900h in the St-Sulpice Room, 3rd Floor, Westin Montreal). On Wednesday, May 4, at 0900h, there will be a group discussion of the book “Deadly Decisions,” a thriller set in Montreal, by Kathy Reichs.
