The Electrochemical Society family of journals is led and supported by dedicated experts focused on furthering ECS’s mission to advance theory and practice at the forefront of electrochemical and solid state science and technology, and allied subjects. Those serving the Society in editorial roles volunteer their time and talents to achieve the greatest possible distribution by maximizing the journals’ value to readers and authors, and the quality and quantity of journal submissions.
Editorial roles are appointed for defined terms in alignment with respective publications’ charters and The Electrochemical Society’s governing bylaws.
All editors must complete the IOPP Peer Review Excellence Training Program and hold a valid certificate of completion. Individuals considering nomination are encouraged to complete the training in advance, as completion of the program is required to be eligible for appointment.
In the spirit of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and creating opportunities for new members to engage with ECS, upcoming expiring volunteer editorial terms are listed below. To be considered for one of these roles, please submit your nomination by completing the Editorial Opportunities Form.
Please consider becoming a reviewer to support the ECS Publications Mission.
