Did you know that ECS has published over 20,000 proceedings papers in ECS Transactions? Then, in 2018, we launched our preprint server, ECSarXiv, in order to provide our community with even more opportunities to share their research. Now, we need your feedback.

Share your thoughts on ECS’s alternative publications venues by taking our brief 5-minute survey. Your feedback will help provide us with valuable information to improve our authors’ publishing options.

Respondents will have the option to provide their contact information in order to be entered in a drawing for one of six $20 Amazon gift cards. (more…)

The proceedings from the First International Conference on 4D Materials and Systems are now available. ECS Transactions, volume 88, issue 1, contains 49 papers based on the research presented August 26-30, 2018, in Yonezawa, Japan. This issue covers the five parallel tracks held at the conference: (1) Gel Symposium, (2) Flexible and Printed Electronics, (3) Material Processing, (4) Electrochemical Materials and Devices for Energy Conversion and Storage, and (5) Sensors and Systems.

To browse the full table of contents, or purchase individual articles, please visit the ECS Digital Library. This issue is also available as an instant PDF download through the ECS Online Store.

ECS is pleased to announce that articles published in its two peer-reviewed journals, the Journal of The Electrochemical Society and the ECS Journal of Solid State Science and Technology, are being indexed in Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science (WoS) faster than ever before—on a rolling, article-by-article basis.

How did it work before? Until recently, WoS indexed ECS journals upon issue close, and it could take about six weeks from the close of an issue for receipt/delivery to WoS. This means if the first article in an issue was published at the beginning of the month, and the last published at the end of the month, the first article could go 10 weeks or more before being indexed in WoS.
