The Electrochemical Society’s distinguished awards recognize outstanding achievements and contributions in electrochemistry and solid state science and technology. Nominate a colleague whose work is making a difference in the field.
These awards celebrate individuals whose work has advanced fundamental scientific understanding, driven innovation, and strengthened the global scientific community. Nominations are encouraged across all areas represented by the Society, including research, leadership, education, and service.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Each award has its own eligibility and selection criteria. Nominees may be evaluated based on factors such as scientific impact, originality, sustained contributions, professional distinction, and service to the field. Review the requirements for each award before submitting a nomination.
Submission Process
Submit all nomination materials electronically through the ECS Awards portal by the stated deadline. If a nomination was not selected last year and is being reconsidered, materials may be updated. Send updated materials to awards@electrochem.org and include the award title, nominee’s name, and App ID (Application Identifier), if available.
Deadline
Nominations must be received by the published deadline for each award.
Recognition
Most award recipients are formally recognized at an ECS Meeting and featured in Society communications and publications.
The Society strongly encourages nominations that reflect the full breadth and diversity of the electrochemical and solid state sciences community.
